I love these three paintings! The various states of Mountieness: out of uniform, reminding us that a regular person puts on the scarlet coat, on foot engaging with people face to face, and then on the horse that gives him his title. I enjoy the variety of Mounted police art; it seemingly has such a limited scope, but so much has been done with the idea!
