 (click to enlarge) | I nabbed another gem from Argosy magazine! This one, from January 13, 1940, is in much better condition than the other one I have, which is a big plus. The Mountie tale inside, a short novel, is really very well written and full of action; it's called When the River Ran White, by Harry Sinclair Drago. It features the intrepid Mountie duo of Sergeant Jim Larned and the fiery Constable Moran, and it's full of fine Canadian colour. Mountie pulp at its finest!
